Depression, anxiety, reduced concentration, and interpersonal difficulties can sometimes be hard to fully understand through a single symptom or test alone.
The Comprehensive Adult Psychological Evaluation is a specialized assessment process that combines standardized psychological tests, clinical interview, and behavioral observation to look at cognitive function, emotion, personality, thought, and interpersonal characteristics from multiple angles.
Rather than simply checking test scores, it can help refine a diagnosis and set a treatment direction by considering current symptoms together with everyday difficulties.
When this may be considered
- When psychiatric symptoms such as depression or anxiety need to be evaluated in greater depth
- When current symptoms and diagnosis need to be more accurately confirmed to decide a treatment direction
- When personality traits, emotional state, and interpersonal patterns need to be comprehensively examined
- When an existing diagnosis or treatment course needs to be supplemented with objective psychological assessment data
- When a psychological evaluation is needed for an official/administrative process
What does it evaluate?
The necessary tests are selected and carried out according to your symptoms and the purpose of the evaluation.
It comprehensively evaluates cognitive function, emotion, personality, thought, and interpersonal relationships, and, as needed, includes in-depth assessment involving cognitive ability tests, personality tests, and emotional/clinical symptom assessments.
When evaluation of a specific area such as adult ADHD or cognitive decline is needed, a separate specialized test can be added.
This isn't a test everyone needs
Because the Comprehensive Adult Psychological Evaluation assesses multiple domains together, it takes more time and cost than a typical psychological test.
For this reason, MoonGyeol doesn't apply it uniformly to every patient — we recommend it selectively when needed, based on current symptoms, diagnostic necessity, and the purpose of the evaluation.
In some cases, testing only a specific domain rather than the full comprehensive evaluation may be more appropriate.
Test duration
About 3 hours. The time required can vary depending on the test composition and your individual condition.
After testing, the results of each test are integrated to interpret your current cognitive and emotional characteristics together with their clinical significance.
