Sleep apnea
Analyzes patterns of apnea/hypopnea during sleep and calculates the Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) to screen for moderate-to-severe sleep apnea.
Breathing during sleep is important information for evaluating sleep apnea.
Apnotrack is a medical device cleared by Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety that records breathing sounds during sleep with a smartphone and uses an AI algorithm to screen for moderate-to-severe sleep apnea.
You can measure your sleep in your usual home environment, without wearing any separate sensor or wearable device.
A medical device for screening moderate-to-severe sleep apnea
(cleared by Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as a sleep apnea screening device)
Analyzes patterns of apnea/hypopnea during sleep and calculates the Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) to screen for moderate-to-severe sleep apnea.
Checks the pattern and proportion of snoring occurring during sleep.
Measured sleep-related indicators such as sleep efficiency and sleep stages can also be reviewed.
We check your current sleep symptoms and lifestyle patterns and determine whether Apnotrack testing is needed.
The medical team issues a patient code through the Apnotrack Hub.
After installing the app on your smartphone, you start the sleep test before bed. Measurement takes place in your usual sleep environment, without any separate sensor or wearable device.
After waking and ending the measurement, you can check your Apnea-Hypopnea Index, snoring, and other sleep-related indicators.
The medical team comprehensively reviews the measurement results together with your symptoms and clinical evaluation. Where needed, further detailed evaluation and specialized treatment for sleep apnea are arranged.
Sleep status can vary from day to day.
Apnotrack can measure sleep at home over 7 or 30 days, which can be used to look at your usual pattern of sleep apnea and snoring over multiple nights — something a single test can't easily capture.
An accurate diagnosis of sleep apnea requires a separate diagnostic test.
Apnotrack is a medical device for screening moderate-to-severe sleep apnea, and it does not replace the standard sleep test used to confirm a sleep apnea diagnosis. (Polysomnography (PSG) is the representative standard test for diagnosing sleep apnea.)
Apnotrack can therefore be used as “a first-step screening assessment to check whether sleep apnea may be present.”
Apnotrack's performance was evaluated in a clinical trial comparing it against polysomnography. The results below are based on a threshold of moderate-to-severe sleep apnea (AHI ≥ 15).

These figures are results under the specific conditions of that clinical trial, and an individual's test result does not always match the actual diagnosis.
Q. Does Apnotrack diagnose sleep apnea?
Apnotrack is a medical device for screening moderate-to-severe sleep apnea. A final diagnosis isn't made from the test result alone — the medical team evaluates symptoms together with the test result, and arranges a separate detailed sleep test if needed.
Q. Can it replace polysomnography?
No. Apnotrack is a test for screening sleep apnea and does not replace standard sleep tests such as polysomnography.
Q. Can I test with just a smartphone?
Yes. It records your breathing sounds during sleep using your smartphone's microphone, without any separate wearable or sensor.
Q. Is it only a one-day test?
You can measure over 7 or 30 days. The testing period is chosen based on the purpose of the evaluation.
Q. Can it also check snoring?
Yes. It can check the pattern and proportion of snoring that occurs during sleep.
Q. What happens if my AHI is high on the results?
The medical team reviews the results together with your sleep symptoms. If sleep apnea is suspected, they will guide you on any further evaluation and treatment direction needed.
We'll look at your current sleep symptoms and condition together and suggest the assessment you need.
